How to
maintain inventory item:?
First
we open the Peachtree software then we
click on the Maintain button then we select the Inventory item
After
selecting the Inventory item option the following window will open
After
opening that window we first we first write the item id and description as
shown below
Here we
write the item id that is required and we also have the write the description
.item class is one of the main requirement that
is showing in the left side of this picture we have to be filled.
After that
we first fill the General tab general tab includes the following items that is
showing from the following window
Here we fill
the following requirements to first one
is price level 1 here we write the amount at which we are selling that product
.the next option is item tag type here we select the item tag of our required
item. The next one is last unit cost In that requirement we can see the cost of
last unit which is sold latest .the next one is cost method it is also
automatically selected by the software .the next option is UPC here write the
upc number after this we write these
requirements I tem type ,location ,weight after that we select GL sales account, GL inventory , GL cost of
sales account .
In that
picture we can see the quantity on hand
and quantity available ,minimum stock recorder quantity as shown below
With the
help of the software we see easily in this picture that how much quantity is
available and quantity in hand quantity SO’s quantity PO’s which is one of the
main feature inventory item .
After
filling the General tab then we select the next bar which is custom fields
In the
custom fields we can see the 5 options 3 options are written and are empty we
can edit all the all 5 options according to our need and can change easily and
every time when we need.
The next tab
is History here we can see history of our entries that we made for maintaining
inventory item
